Cockroaches and cheap curry- yep, back in India again! It is strange to see the contrast, as it wasn't something i felt so much while in Nepal. But people here are taller, fatter and smile less, while the food is cheaper and more plentiful, and there are more people, cows, litter, electricity and noise.
Siligiri is simply a connection point for most people i think - even the hotel manager didn't have anything nice to say about the place.
